Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Novena

O, Mother most holy and afflicted Virgin, Queen of Martyrs, thou who didst remain standing at the foot of the Cross of thy dying Son, by the sword of sorrow that pierced thee then, by the incessant suffering of thy life and the felicity that now amply compensates for thy past trials and afflictions, with the tenderness and pity of a mother, look down upon me as I kneel before thee, venerating thy sacred sorrows, and with filial confidence placing my request in the sanctuary of thy wounded Heart. (here mention your request) I beseech thee, do present thy sufferings at the foot of the Cross to Jesus Christ in union with the infinite merits of His Passion and death; and by the efficacy of both, obtain that my request be granted. Amen.
