Holy Day of Obligation: This Wednesday is the feast of All Saints. It is a holy day of obligation and Mass attendance is obligatory.

*Prayers Requested: Please pray for the sick in the parish especially, Lucy Muscarnera, Jessie Gaines, Holly Hightower, Max and Karen Hartman, and Carl Lukkes.

Christ the King Sunday: We will be having Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament after Mass today in honor of Christ the King as ordered by Pope Pius XI.

Heaven House: Please stay after Mass and see the OLS Academy Heaven House in the Church Hall. Please enjoy some coffee and a doughnut or sweet roll and then listen to the Saints tell you a little about their lives.

All Souls Day: November 2nd is All Souls Day. The “Toties Quoties” indulgence for the Poor Souls may be gained by the Faithful from noon on Nov. 1st to midnight on November 2nd, as often as they visit a Church, (provided they have gone to Confession and Communion) say at each visit six Our Fathers, six Hail Marys and six Glory Be’s for the intentions of the Church. These plenary indulgences may also be gained from noon on the following Saturday to midnight on the following Sunday, but only by those who did not gain it on the preceding Nov. 1st and 2nd. Please find in the vestibule a paper explaining more indulgences that may be gained for the Poor Souls throughout the month of November.

Next Sunday Collection: There will be a second collection next Sunday for Mater Dei Seminary in Omaha, Nebraska.

*Garage Sale: We will be having a “Garage Sale” on November 11 to raise money to cover various church expenses. Please bring any donations for the garage sale to one of the Sisters and if any ladies of the parish are willing to volunteer to help, please see Sister Maria Jacinta, CMD.

*Poor Souls Remembrance: This Wednesday is the beginning of November, the month of the Poor Souls in Purgatory. Please find in the vestibule, envelopes to submit names of those who have passed away and whom you wish to be remembered at Mass, throughout the month of November.
