*Catechism Class for Adults: The Baltimore III Catechism class will be held on Thursday, May 16, at 7:00 pm in the Church Hall. We will be covering lessons 34-35. Please be mindful to maintain proper modesty in dress here on the church property.

*Rogation Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are the Rogation Days, there will be an 8:00 a.m. procession followed by the Rogation Mass each day.

 

*Ascension Thursday: The Ascension is a Holy Day of obligation. Mass attendance is required.

 

*Confession: Confessions will continue to be held after Mass on Saturdays. There will not be confessions before Saturday Mass.

 

*May, the Month of Our Lady: Beginning next Sunday, we will have processions bringing flowers to the shrine in honor of the Blessed Mother:

-1st Sunday - The children and young adults, lead by First Communicants

-2nd Sunday – All mothers and women of the Parish

-3rd Sunday - The Holy Name Society, all fathers, and men of the Parish

-4th Sunday -  the High school and 8th Grade graduates

You are invited to bring your own flowers up in the procession on those days, or we will have flowers available. The children and young adults will line up before Mass next Sunday and present their flowers to her, right before the beginning of Mass.

 

*Girls’ Camp: Mark your calendar. There will be a girls’ camp at Our Lady of the Sun beginning at the 8:00 a.m. Mass on Monday, June 25th, and ending after the 8:00 a.m. morning Mass on Thursday, June 28th. The cost is $80 per girl. Any girls aged six and older are invited to attend.
